CEO Jae

CEO Jae

I want to start by saying something I mean completely: you are not behind. You have not missed your chance. Wherever you are right now — however long you have been there, however much weight you are carrying — you are exactly on time for this.

I built Rising Within because I know what it feels like to be in a place where the world has written you off, and to still have a voice inside you that says: this is not the whole story. That voice is telling the truth. But wanting to change and actually knowing how to change are two different things, and for a long time, no one handed women behind bars the real tools — the trauma work, the rights knowledge, the parenting support, the concrete reentry planning — all in one place, in a voice that actually sounds like someone who cares about you.

This school is my answer to that gap. Every module was built around what I know women actually need: not motivational speeches, not programs that feel designed for someone else's life, but honest, practical, deeply human lessons that meet you where you are. You will learn how to name what has happened to you without letting it define you. You will get clear on rights that are yours right now, today, that many women never know they have. You will stay connected to your children in ways that actually protect the relationship. And you will build a reentry plan — a real one — long before you need it.

I want to be honest with you about one more thing: this work is not always easy. Some lessons will ask you to sit with things that are uncomfortable. Some writing prompts will bring things up. That is not a flaw in the curriculum — that is the curriculum working. You will not be left alone in those moments. The tools are right there with you, and so is this community.

If you have been waiting for permission to invest in yourself — in your healing, your plan, your future, your children, your legacy — this is that permission. You deserve this. Not someday. Right now. Come as you are, and let's do this together.
